Ridge Mini Cow was born spring 2019.  He was introduced to our farm as a complimentary bull to Cyrus.  Ridge was attractive to us because of his small genetics.  Our breeding program is focused on producing small, but proportional, cattle with solid genetics. 

Ridge’s calves all have low birth weights, small frames, nice hair, are small in overall size, and have awesome temperaments.  He is a 50% miniature Highland and 50% Dexter. DNA testing shows he is red with the wild type gene. Which means he throws like a yellow bull.  He also carries the chondrodysplasia (dwarfism) gene.
